Acid, neutral or alkaline moist well drained soil.
Sun or partial shade.
Hardiness rating H6 - Hardy in all of UK and northern Europe.
Trim around mid-summer. Tidy up in late summer/autumn, or as required.
Can be repeatedly trimmed to the same size and shape, or can be allowed to grow to a larger size by trimming the new growth to within about five centimetres of the previous trimming point each year or two.
