Description 

Acer palmatum Emerald Lace is an attractive garden acer with colourful deciduous foliage. This plant dazzles from early spring with a bright burst of finely dissected lime-green leaves, and once summer comes around you'll see that the foliage has developed a striking red edge, providing a stunning contrast. As we come to autumn, the leaves darken into a fiery orange-red colour, providing seasonal interest for the majority of the year.

This japanese maple prefers to be planted in full sun, but can easily adapt to a partially shaded position in your garden. Emerald Lace can tolerate most soil types, so long as the planting area is moist, but well-drained.
